A year after Daniel (Lloyd) left Salt Lake City (sometime around 2003-04), he found a new home in Seattle, Washington. There, he and vocalist Micah A. (Kojack Lemoune). met and assembled a band that Daniel named “Wet City Rockers”. There is an obvious reference here to White City (in fact there were a few gigs and almost an album actually named White City Rockers.

Within this context, Daniel met bassist Norman Baker, Guitarists Bill Patton and Jonathon Kimball, and Keyboardist Darren Pearson.

Wet City was a rootsy band with darkly melodic rhythms and sometimes humorous lyrics. They enjoyed some success regionally and toured from the Northwest into the Intermountain west. There was one self titled album released that will available here at the Issue records website.

Ultimately, the group disbanded due to issues mainly between Kojack and the rest of the band. He has since attempted to play shows and record tracks using mostly rhythms that the original line up composed, but hasn’t been able to recreate the same chemistry that made Wet City the under-dog powerhouse that it once was.

The rest of the band moved on and backed up Reggae legend Winston Jarrett as the Solid Foundation Band. There we met up with Singer/percussionist Naphtali Rashid, and guitarist Pudu Dawes (among other notables). While working for a couple of years for Winston, Norm and Daniel put the band to work on a dub project entitled Dub Lounge International and put out another record called Dub Lounge One.
